Register Accessories

Explanation

You can register any accessories delivered together with the part on the Accessories tab. Accessories could be a remote control, a power cable, or perhaps something really expensive that you must keep track of. It could also be a customer requirement that you should keep track of in terms of the quantity received as well as any acquisition value for the total received quantity. Accessories are always non-inventory parts and will not create any inventory transactions or records. It is possible to specify if an accessory line should be returned or not.

The accessory line is tied to a specific CRO repair or exchange. Enter a description of the accessory, the planned quantity and a unit of measure.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, at least one repair- or exchange line must have been entered, since the accessory record is tied to a specific CRO repair or exchange.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an information line describing an accessory related to the repair- or exchange line is created.
