Use this
activity to create a valuation plan for a Sub Contract. The Sub Contract
Valuation Plan shows the forecasted subcontractor payments from the plan
date of the Sub Contract Valuation Plan as well as the Sub Contract
Valuations created to date.
The Sub
Contract Valuation Plan can be created with or without copy from an existing
plan.
If the plan is created without copying from an existing plan, the Certificate Date Schedule on the Sub Contract page is used to calculate the planned payment dates. The payment amount is calculated based on the Discrete Value of each planned item entered manually.
If the plan is created by copying an existing plan, the planned payment
dates and the Discrete Values are copied from the selected plan.
The General Information tab displays information from
the sub contract which affect the values on the valuation plan;
Total Retention, Deduction, Discount, Payment Terms and Tax
Code. If these values are changed on the sub contract, the
Update Valuation Plan command can be used to update the values on
the valuation plan header and items. The contract value will also be updated
when this command it executed if it has been changed.
The
Cash Plan Settings defined on the sub contract header level are
also displayed. This information is used when sub contract valuation plans
are included as a source in cash planning.
