When the business opportunity does not lead to a customer order, you can set the opportunity lines as lost. Click Lost to open the Lost Opportunity Line dialog. Enter the reason why the opportunity line was lost and to which competitor it was lost. The status of the opportunity line is then set to Lost.
The opportunity with one line must have been entered, saved and released.
The status of the opportunity line is set to Lost and will receive the information for the loss. No further transactions can be performed for the line.
