Create Sales Quotation from Business Opportunity
Explanation
When your account has requested a quotation, you can create a sales quotation
from the business opportunity. Click Create Sales Quotation on the
Business Opportunity page.
The Create Sales
Quotation dialog appears in order to update information.
Prerequisites
- The business opportunity must have the Confirmed status.
- The account category should either be Customer or Prospect.
System Effects
- A sales quotation is created, using all available information on the
business opportunity. The status of the business opportunity is updated
to In Progress.
- All opportunity lines on the main revision will generate new sales
quotation lines. A reference to the originating opportunity line will be
stored on the quotation line. If the opportunity lines belong to different
sites, one sales quotation for each site will be created.
