This activity is used to view, modify, or enter information about account types. You can define different account types based on the industry you are involved in. As an account could represent a business, corporate, charity organisation or a government body, the account types can be used to further specify the account - Examples for account types would be consultancy firm, auditor, government agency, certification body, distributor, supplier, 3PL provider, advertising agency, sponsor or partner.
This activity can be carried out by a user who has access to CRM data.

An account type is created and is available for use in Account - CRM record and CRM Info of Customer record.
