This activity is used to enter actions for a marketing campaign. By adding campaign targets to an action you can create campaign acitivites for the contacts who are added as targets for the campaign. If a campaign activity should be created for an action, you need to select which activity type that should be used for the activities. If you want to register responses from the targets you need to select which response categories to use for the action.
