Configurations for Available to Promise
Explanation
Use this activity to configure supply sources (i.e. Shop Orders, Purchase
Order Lines and Distribution Orders) for Available to Promise.
The configuration of the Shop Order settings can be
configured in the Configurations for Available to Promise section
on the Site/Manufacturing/General tab.
- Include Planned Shop Orders - If this option
is enabled, shop orders in the Planned status with Remaining
Net Supply > 0 are considered as a Supply Source for Available to Promise
in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master Scheduling. If this option is
enabled, option Include Released Shop Orders enabled automatically.
- Include Released Shop Orders - If this option is enabled,
shop orders in the Released status with Remaining Net Supply >
0 are considered as a Supply Source for Available to Promise in Replan
Customer Order Lines and Master Scheduling.
- Include Past Due Shop Orders
- If this option is enabled and Past Due Days should
be defined.
- If this option is enabled with defined Past Due Days
and option Include Planned Shop Orders is
enabled, Past Due Planned Shop Orders of the defined
Past Due Days with Remaining Net Supply > 0 are considered as a Supply
Source for Available to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master
Scheduling.
- If this option is enabled with defined Past Due Days
and option Include Released Shop Orders is
enabled, Past Due Released Shop Orders of the defined
Past Due Days with Remaining Net Supply > 0 are considered as a Supply
Source for Available to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master
Scheduling.
- If this option is enabled with defined Past Due Days,
Past Due shop orders in the
Reserved and Started Status of the
defined period with Remaining Net Supply > 0 are considered as a
Supply Source for Available to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines
and Master Scheduling.
- Past Due Days - The value can be defined if the
option Include Past Due Shop Orders is enabled. The value
is used to consider the Past Due Shop Orders as a Supply Source for Available
to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master Scheduling. The value
compared against the Finish Date of the Shop Order. For example, if the
Past Due Days is 2 Days then the Finish Date of the Shop Order is compared
against Site Date. If the Finish Date is already passed it is a Past Due
Shop Order. If the Site Date - Finish Date of the Shop Order is less than
or equal to the Past Due Days defined, the Past Due shop orders related
to the given criteria is considered as a Supply Source for Available to
Promise.
The configuration of the Purchase Order Line and Distribution Order settings
can be configured in the Configurations for Available to Promise
section on the Site/Sales and Procurement/Procurement
tab.
- Include Released PO Lines - If this option is
enabled, Purchase Order Lines in the Released status with
Quantity to Receive > 0 are considered as a Supply Source for Available
to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master Scheduling. If this
option is enabled, options Include Confirmed PO Lines,
Include Arrived PO Lines, Include Received PO Lines
enabled automatically.
- Include Confirmed PO Lines - If this option is enabled,
Purchase Order Lines in the Confirmed status with Quantity
to Receive > 0 are considered as a Supply Source for Available
to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master Scheduling. If this
option is enabled, options Include Arrived PO Lines,
Include Received PO Lines enabled automatically.
- Include Arrived PO Lines - If this option is enabled,
Purchase Order Lines in the Arrived status with Quantity
to Receive > 0 are considered as a Supply Source for Available
to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master Scheduling. If this
option is enabled, options Include Received PO Lines
enabled automatically.
- Include Received PO Lines - If this option is enabled,
Purchase Order Lines in the Received status with Quantity
to Receive > 0 are considered as a Supply Source for Available
to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master Scheduling.
- Include Past Due PO Lines
- If this option is enabled and Past Due Days should
be defined.
- If this option is enabled with defined Past Due Days
and option Include Released PO Lines is enabled,
Past Due Released Purchase Order Lines with Quantity
to Receive > 0 of the defined Past Due Days are considered as a Supply
Source for Available to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master
Scheduling.
- If this option is enabled with defined Past Due Days
and option Include Confirmed PO Lines is enabled,
Past Due Confirmed Purchase Order Lines with Quantity
to Receive > 0 of the defined Past Due Days are considered
as a Supply Source for Available to Promise in Replan Customer Order
Lines and Master Scheduling.
- If this option is enabled with defined Past Due Days
and option Include Arrived PO Lines is enabled,
Past Due Arrived Purchase Order Lines with Quantity
to Receive > 0 of the defined Past Due Days are considered as a Supply
Source for Available to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master
Scheduling.
- If this option is enabled with defined Past Due Days
and option Include Received PO Lines is enabled,
Past Due Received Purchase Order Lines with Quantity
to Receive > 0 of the defined Past Due Days are considered as a Supply
Source for Available to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master
Scheduling.
- Past Due Days - The value can be defined if the
option Include Past Due PO Lines is enabled. The value
is used to consider the Past Due Purchase Order Lines as a Supply Source
for Available to Promise in Replan Customer Order Lines and Master Scheduling.
The value compared against the Planned Receipt Date of the Purchase Order
Lines. For example, if the Past Due Days is 2 Days then the Planned Receipt
Date of the Purchase Order Lines is compared against Site Date. If
the Planned Receipt Date is already passed it is a Past Due Purchase Order
Line. If the Site Date - Planned Receipt Date of the Purchase Order Line
a is less than or equal to the Past Due Days defined, the Past Due Purchase
Order Lines related to the given criteria is considered as a Supply Source
for Available to Promise.
- Include Planned Distribution Orders - If this option
is enabled, Distribution Orders in the Planned status are
considered as a Supply Source for Available to Promise in Replan Customer
Order Lines and Master Scheduling.
Prerequisites
The site must be created.
System Effects
Supply Sources (i.e. Shop Orders, Purchase Order Lines and Distribution Orders)
can configured for the selected site.
