Use this activity to correct pack errors reported when output transaction data was packed to output file lines.
When errors are reported during the pack step and these errors have occurred due to the transaction data and not due to the basic data setup in External Files, then this activity can be used to directly correct the invalid transactions without entering a new set of output transactions.
To perform this navigate to External File Transactions page and Query to find the relevant File Load ID for whuch errors have been reported. Then check all the transactions with error text and correct the File Line manually. Click on Save to save the modified lines. Finally, perform the Pack External Input File, using the transaction page to start the unpack activity again.
The pack step in the output file process must have been executed, and errors reported that are not related to the basic data setup.
After correcting the transactions, the pack step can be performed again to determine whether it is now possible pack the file lines without errors.
