Mark as Default Template

Explanation

This activity is used to specify one company template as the default template. During a new installation, you can replace the existing default company template by specifying another company template as the default value. 

Prerequisites

A company template must be available in the Company Templates window.
Note that during installation/upgrade of IFS Cloud, a set of system company templates are created. At that point, if a default template is not available, then the first installed template must have been set as the default. 

System Effects

The default template will be used according to the following:

• It will be suggested as the source template when creating a new Company in the Create Company Wizard.
• It will be suggested as the source for user related data in the create company template.
• It will be suggested as the source in the Update Company Translation dialog box if the current company has no source company or source template.
