View Conversion Factors Between Units

Explanation

Use this activity to view all alternative units derived from a selected base unit from Unit Relationships page. This optional task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person. The conversion factor and description for each alternative unit are displayed. The Alternative UoM field shows a list of all units derived from the selected base unit. The Factor field displays the conversion factor used for converting to each of the units

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• For predefined units, the Used in Application option must be selected in the ISO Code Usage/Unit of Measure. 
• For user-defined units, the unit of measure must be defined in the Units of Measure . 
• To compare conversion factors, the alternate units must be derived from the same base unit, or one must be a base unit.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• All units derived from the base unit will be displayed.
