Use this activity to administrate the IUID information using the IUID Administration page. IUID Administration page is an overview page which lists all the serial tracked parts with IUID information. It is possible to review all the IUID information and then decide what are the parts should be submitted to the UID Registry of Department of Defense. The Submit command can be used to submit the IUID information. But, generating a report for the submit is not supported and system will only change the IUID status to Submitted status. Generating a report for submitting the IUID information should be handled manually. When the Submit command is preformed the system will check whether there are changes in the IUID information compared to the settings done at Part IUID Setup or Project IUID Setup Pages. If there is a difference it will give an error message, but it is possible to set Ignore Validation option and proceed the submitting information. When submitting a top part, the submit command will list the IUID enabled components of the top part as well. While submitting the IUID information, it is possible to select what are the components should be submitted as well.
There should be at least one part with IUID value connected.
