Approve

Explanation

Approving an item will tell the IPR server that the forecast is approved and can be used in calculating safety stock, lot size and reorder point. Note that the IPR server can also be configured not to take the approve flag into consideration if so approving an item will not have any affect. If you are not running IPR this function has no effect.

Prerequisites

• Forecast parts should to be published, does not apply to items published with Read Only access level.
• The Demand Plan Server needs to be running.
• IPR turned on, and configured to only compute results for approved items (SkipAprove, see Advance Server Settings for details).

System Effects

IPR results gets recalculated.
