This activity is used to verify that catalog numbers are entered on a template structure. If IFS/Complex MRO is installed, and the template structure is to be transferred to IFS Manufacturing, each structure item must contain a unique catalog number. Catalog numbers are used to generate position parts when transferring a template structure to IFS Manufacturing. When initiating the template structure transfer, the system will check if the catalog number is unique for the template and for all template structures below and all template structures above.
To ensure that only unique catalog numbers are entered, make sure the Allow Non Unique Catalog Numbers option is disabled on the template. Once a template structure is transferred, it will not be possible to update this option.

To perform this activity, the template structure that is to be used in IFS/Complex MRO flows must be defined.
As a result of this activity, unique catalog numbers are defined for the template structure items and the transfer of the template structure to IFS Manufacturing may be initiated.
