This activity is used to remove any maintenance events previously included in the work scope that no longer need to be performed due to changes in the part structure. Normally this would occur after a different part found scenario.
The functionality provides information about the parts that have been marked as removed from the off log structure and have events included in the work scope. Utilizing this information and examining the events that now may be removed can be done in the Superfluous Mx Events tab found in the pages listed under the Pages section. In this tab, select the serial that is no longer located at the anticipated position in the structure and the click Remove All Maintenance Events for Serial. As a result, all events connected to the selected serial and all affected parts on the events connected will be removed from the work scope. Once this is done you may reset the maintenance levels of the work scope, if needed.
The work scope for the overhaul object is modified to reflect the changes in the structure.
