Specify External Supplier and External Service Type

Explanation

When a disposition shop order line consists of modifications and/or discrepancies that require external work, it is necessary to enter an external supplier and an external service type.

When repair codes are generated manually or from the modifications and/or discrepancies, if there is a repair code defined as External then the default supplier and external service type is copied to the disposition line. This happens as long as there is only one repair code defined as External or if the repair codes are defined with the same supplier and the same external service type. If there are several repair code defined as External with either different suppliers and/or external service types, then it is up to the technician to define a supplier and an external service type for the disposition line, i.e. no copy to the disposition line is performed.

It is also up to the technician to maintain the supplier and an external service type if repair codes are added manually which are in conflict with a defaulted supplier and an external service type.
