Report Future Time

Explanation

Use this activity to report approximate time taken for technician to travel back from customer site once the assignment has been completed. The purpose of this functionality is to make this time visible for the customer. This functionality is available in ServiceEngApp only.

Future travel time is reported in the system as Work Task Clocking with start /end time set in the future while completing the work assignment . No task transactions,  Cost or Sales lines are created for the Clocking. The Clocking is created with clocking category Return Travel. While there are clocking records with no connected time transactions, it is not possible to set Work Task to status Reported or Finished. The time transactions can be created once the clock out time becomes a time in the past.
