Set Work Assignment Status to On Route

Explanation

This activity is used to change the status of the work assignment to On Route in mobile. This status is set when you start traveling to the customer's site to perform the work.

When the status is set to On Route, an automatic travel time Clock-In is created on the work assignment which will be Clocked-Out when the status is changed either to Pause, Waiting at Location or Work Start.

Prerequisites

• The work assignment should exist on the mobile device.
• The work assignment should be accepted by the mobile user.

System Effects

• The work assignment is set to the On Route status.
• If Automatic time reporting is not turned off via a Workflow Configuration, an automatic travel time Clock-In is created on the work assignment.
• A journal entry is created on the mobile work order for the status change.
