Set Work Assignment Status to Work Started

Explanation

This activity is used to change the status of the work assignment to Work Started in mobile. This status is set when you want to start with your work assignment, i.e., you have arrived at the location of the work assignment.

When the status is set to Work Started, an automatic work time Clock-In is created on the work assignment which will be Clocked-Out when the status is changed either to Pause, Complete or Incomplete.

Prerequisites

• The work assignment should exist on the mobile device.

System Effects

• The work assignment is set to the Work Started status.
• If Automatic time reporting is not turned off via a Workflow Configuration, an automatic work time Clock-In is created on the work assignment.
• If a Travel time Clock-In exists on the work assignment, that will be Clocked-Out, and a travel time transaction will be created.
• A journal entry is created on the mobile work order for the status change.
