Suggest to Reassign the Task

Explanation

This activity is used to suggest to Reassign the Task when Incompleting or Cancelling an Assignment. If work task should not be rescheduled to the same person, a Reject Redispatch enabled Incomplete/Cancel Cause must be given in Incomplete/Cancel dialogue.

Prerequisites

• A work assignment should exist.
  
• Incomplete/Cancel (Reject Redispatch enabled, if required) codes must be defined in Incomplete/Cancel Cause pages.
• If the allocation has been made via a Resource Demand, the planned quantity should be 1.

System Effects

• Work assignment will be set to status Incompleted or Cancelled.
• A Resource Demand line for the suggested Resource Group (and Resource) will be created/modified.
• If a Reject Redispatch enabled cause has been used when Incompleting/Cancelling,
• The Reject Redispatch field is indicated on the Work Assignment in IFS Cloud Web.
• The Work Task Preference value (Work Task’s Scheduling Information) for the user will be set to 0, if Scheduling Solution is used.
• The resource who Incompleted/Cancelled the assignment will be visually indicated in the Planning Gantt.
• Gives out a warning, If manual rescheduling is being done for the resource who Incompleted/Cancelled the assignment.
