Allocate Tool/Equipment to Work Task
Explanation
To make sure that the required tools are available when you start work
on a work task, you can manually allocate the specific tools to the work
task for the specified duration within the planned timeframe of the work
package.
Note that the allocation of tools is only applicable if the
tools/equipment have been set up as resources in IFS Cloud and not for
tools migrated from the M&E system.
Prerequisites
- Tool/equipment requirements must exist on the work task.
- A tool/equipment should not have been checked out to the
tool/equipment requirement and the tool/equipment requirement should not
have been signed off.
- The airport must be connected to the same site as the resources
(tools) that should be allocated.
System Effects
- The specific tool will be allocated to the work task for the
duration specified and within the time frame of the work package.
