Review Aircraft Turn

Explanation

Use this activity to review details related to an aircraft turn in order to prepare for maintenance execution.

As a supervisor, you can use the Station Turns page to view details of turns for a station and navigate to work assignments.

In addition, as a technician or supervisor you can use the My Aircraft Turns page to view the list of all aircraft arriving at maintenance locations for the airport defined for your user. You can also configure it to show aircraft turns for the number of hours ahead of and prior to the system date and time.

For an aircraft turn, details related to the arrival flight and departure flight, if any, are displayed. A departure flight is linked to an aircraft turn if there is a flight scheduled to depart after the arrival flight for a particular aircraft from the same airport. Scheduled arrival and departure dates and times are displayed, until the actual date and time for flights are recorded.

An aircraft turn takes on a status as follows:

If a work package has been scheduled after the arrival time of the flight arriving at your maintenance location, it will be displayed for the turn.

You can also view details for each aircraft turn such as the work assigned to the work package, and the open, deferred and closed faults for the aircraft in the turn on the Aircraft Turn Details page.
