Perform this activity to enter crew periods and related schedules for the periods when the crew is planned to work. The periods and schedules defined are used when generating resource schedules and capacity for the crew.
It is possible to define multiple crew periods and for each period base the crew schedule on a work time calendar or a shift pattern template. If a shift pattern template is used, then the Use Shift Pattern option must be set to Yes to be included when generating resource schedules and capacity. A work time calendar is mandatory to define as the crew's base schedule, even if a shift pattern template is used.
The crew capacity is based on the crew schedule as defined per period, and not by each of the individual crew member's capacity.
When generating resource schedules and capacity, resource shifts and capacity are generated based on the crew period dates and the defined schedules within the offsets of the generation.
