Perform this activity to create attributes that can be used in Resource Management. Attributes are used to determine different properties or characteristics of an object and can be beneficial for grouping and finding data with specific characteristics.
Create attributes type Resource, Shift or Scheduling and decide if the data type should be Text, Date or Number.
It is also possible to connect a list of values to the attribute by defining an existing view in the LoV View field in the Resource Attribute Manager page or alternately, by using the method RES_ATTRIBUTE_VALUE(ATTRIBUTE_ID) and then define a user-defined list in the Resource Attribute Values page.
The attribute type Resource can be used to define attributes on resources.
The attribute type Shift can be defined on resource shifts and on resource shift types. If defined on a shift type, and that shift type is used in a shift pattern template, the attribute will be included when generating resource shifts.
The attribute type Scheduling can be used for integration to resource scheduling tools. The system-defined attributes of this type are specifically designed to be used with the PSO integration.
