Perform this activity to specify cost for resources used in projects and maintenance processes of type: Person Group, Tool/Equipment Group and Tool/Equipment.
Cost can be defined when creating the resource using the assistant or updated after the resource has been created. Cost for manufacturing resources.(Machine Groups and Machines) are defined on the labor class and work centers and can be updated after the resource has been created. It is currently not possible to define cost for Crew Groups or Crews.
Cost can be defined for each company and site connection defined on the resource and is used for retrieval of planned and reported cost.

For resources used in projects, it is possible to define standard prices to be used with Project Reporting. The cost entered in the Project Related Cost tab will be saved as a record in the Standard Internal Price page and will be used to retrieve internal prices for project transactions.
If cost has been defined in this tab, then this cost will take higher priority over cost defined in the General Cost tab.
Costs are defined for the resource and can be used to retrieve planned cost as well as reported cost.
