Create Media Archive

Explanation

This activity is used to create new media archive using the Media Archives. Defining a media archive is mandatory before archiving media items. This mandatory task is to be performed by a system administrator.

Enter following values to perform this activity using Azure Blob Storage.

Archive Method : Azure Storage.
Archive Location : https://[Azure Account Name].blob.core.windows.net.
Azure Account Name : Name of the Microsoft Azure Blob Storage account.
Azure Container Name : Name of the container in the Blob Storage.
Azure Account Key : Key 1 Generated by Azure (listed under Access Keys in Azure account).
Azure Wallet Path : Path of the Oracle Wallet. This location is in the Virtual Machine where the Oracle is Installed. Oracle should have access to this location. Preferably this path should be part of the ALL_DIRECTORIES in Oracle.
Azure Wallet Password : Password used when creating the Oracle Wallet.

Enter following values to perform this activity using Oracle File Storage:

Archive Method : Oracle File Storage.
Archive Location : Oracle Directory Location (eg: "c:\medialibrary\archive","\\server\share\folder\")

Note: The record will automatically set to Active if it is the only available archive.

Prerequisites

• An Azure Blob Storage account or an Oracle file storage must have been configured to use as an archive for media items.

• For HTTPS (recommended), an Oracle Wallet must have been created using Oracle Wallet Manager.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a new media archive record will be created.
