Check Configuration and Execute

Explanation

In this activity the user checks the configuration of an operation that hasn’t been completed. Operations that hasn’t been completed can belong to an observation that may be in the state of waiting for review or received. Even though the operations haven’t failed they still aren’t completed. The ones in the state of received are unknown observations to the system.

In this activity the user fixes the error of an operation that have failed to execute properly. The operations that have failed are indicated by the observation being in the state of error.

To configure and execute:
    1. Open the Observation window.
    2. Select an observation that has the error status.
    3. Review the Exception tab and either
        a. Fix errors in the Device Map.
        b. Fix error in the Observation Flow.
        c. Fix errors in the Operation Model.
        d. Re-publish the operation (if b or c above) of the observation flow and enable the event action.
    4. Click Execute all Observations or execute a single operation on the observation.

Prerequisites

An observation in error state.

System Effects

The operations defined for the observation are run. Observations with error state can be re-run as many times as needed until the configuration of the observation and operations are correct.
