Manually entered rows can be added to make corrections to automatically created details, or to add details that are not directly connected to a transaction. When the detail is connected to an existing transaction, that transaction will be recalculated to include the newly added detail. For project transaction the Internal price will be updated, and for work task transaction the Total cost will be updated.
When Job Rate Management is not used, there are some validations for when
it is possible to update the transaction, the same validations are valid for
the Job Cost Details when Job Rate Management is used.

If the details are transferred to the payroll system, it is not possible to edit or delete those specific details anymore. In a simple case, where prevailing wage, job cost period or blended overtime is not represented in the result, it is however possible to add new details to the transaction.
