Create Fault Report

Explanation

This activity is used to report a fault of a linear asset. Information on the fault location can be entered with the use of elements and segments. In addition general information about the fault can be specified in the General section of the New Fault Report Assistant.

This activity is performed in selecting object type as Linear Asset in New Fault Report Assistant.

Prerequisites

• Linear Asset should exist.
• Maintenance specific information such as maintenance organization and employee should be defined in the Organization Basic Data page.

System Effects

A work order is created for the linear asset.
