Use this activity to register a linear asset, a continuous asset whose length plays an important role in its design and maintenance. Such as pipelines, roads, power lines and railways. A linear asset may or may not have the same attribute and their values can change throughout its length.
This activity can be performed on Linear Asset or Linear Assets pages.
Working with revision handling requires IFS/Asset Design installed.
A linear asset is created. A summarized view of work orders or preventive maintenance on the chosen revision of the linear asset can be monitored.
