Define Location with Location Category Customer
Explanation

Customer if the Request Management solution is enabled.
Locations are used to represent the geographical location of a particular item,
for example an Equipment Object, a Work Order or a Request.
If the Location Category is Customer,
- Only Customer as Party Type is allowed.
- Only one address line is allowed as Visit Address as
well as Tax Address.
- Location ID should be linked to a Customer's single Visit Address.
A Location with
Location Category Customer and Map Position is automatically
created when a Customer Address is created in Customer/Address
page.
The map position for the location is retrieved automatically when a Visit
Address is created. This map position is inherited by connected Equipment
Objects,
Work Order, Work Task, Service Requests and Requests.
Prerequisites
- Customer must be defined in IFS/Enterprise.
