Define Location with Location Category Customer

Explanation

This activity is used to define a location with Location Category Customer if the Request Management solution is enabled. Locations are used to represent the geographical location of a particular item, for example an Equipment Object, a Work Order or a Request.

 If the Location Category is Customer,

A Location with Location Category Customer and Map Position is automatically created when a Customer Address is created in Customer/Address page.

The map position for the location is retrieved automatically when a Visit Address is created. This map position is inherited by connected Equipment Objects, Work Order, Work Task, Service Requests and Requests.
