Connect a Subtask to a Task Card
Explanation
This activity is used to connect one or more subtasks to a task card. When
a subtask is connected to a task card, the following rules apply:
- Resource and material requirements can be defined for both the task
card and connected subtasks.
- Zones and access panels cannot be defined for both the task card and
subtask. Note that it is possible to connect a subtask with zones to a task
card with zones if the task card is in the Preliminary status. However,
when this task card is activated, the zones that are defined on the task
card will be removed automatically.
- Sign off requirements can be defined for both the task card and subtask.
Subtasks can be connected to a task card in the Subtasks per
Task Card/Subtasks tab. The Subtasks per Task Card
page can be opened directly or by clicking on the Connect Subtasks
command in the Task Card page.
Prerequisites
- Task cards must have been defined for the part revision.
- Subtasks must have been defined for the same part revision as the task
card.
