This activity is used to define alternates or maintain the definition of alternates that are introduced to a template structure by a modification. A modification may introduce a new template alternate, a position alternate or it may require a change to the interchangeability code of an existing alternate.
To define or maintain alternates which are introduced by a modification go to the Template Structure Impacts from Modification page. Enter information in the Template Alternates and/or Position Alternates tab according to the type of alternates you want to define. If the alternate can be used in a structure even before the modification is complied with, enable the Allow Alternate Without Modification Compliance option.
