Unassign Serial

Explanation

This activity is used to unassign a serial from a mandatory modification revision. To unassign a serial, click Unassign Serial in the Modification Details/Assign Serials tab.

Prerequisites

• The modification must have been defined. This modification must have the Mandatory category and be in the Active status.
• No running events can exist for the given modification for the serial number.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the serial is unassigned from the mandatory modification.
