Enter or Change Expiration Date

Explanation

For each inventory location record, you can either enter a new expiration date or change an existing one.

Expiration Date can also be set for a handling unit and then all the inventory location records connected to that handling unit ID inherit the applied availability control ID.

Prerequisites

• There must be parts available, e.g.,  the parts in the transaction cannot be in reserved status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an expiration date is entered or changed.
