Use this activity to generate the components, operations, tools and work guidelines for the shop order based on the back office rules defined for the part on the shop order. If the configuration is updated, the existing components and operations will be deleted and then recreated based on the updated configuration.
To perform this activity, click Yes in the question message appearing when completing a configuration on the shop order. You can also manually trigger the evaluation by clicking Handle Material and Operations and then clicking Update for Configuration.
Configuration Characteristics and Configuration Back Office must have been installed. The associated configuration characteristics and back office configuration rules defined.
The shop order components, operations, tools and work guidelines are generated according to the back office configuration rules and the shop order configuration. Any existing components, operations, tools and work guidelines will be replaced.
