Change Production
Explanation
This activity is used to register changes for an ongoing production (runtime)
on an operation, or sequence of operations.
To perform this activity from Shop Floor Workbench,
select operation(s) with ongoing production and click Change Production.
It is also possible to perform this activity in Operation Guide.
Then you select an operation in Shop Floor Workbench
with ongoing production, open Operation Guide and
click Change Production.
In the dialog you can register below changes:
- Start Machine Time - Enabled only if machine time is
not ongoing.
- Stop Machine Time - Enabled only if machine time is
ongoing.
- Change Resource - Enabled only if machine time is ongoing.
- Start Labor Time - Enabled only if labor time is not
ongoing.
- Stop Labor Time - Enabled only if labor time is ongoing.
- Change Crew Size - Enabled only if labor time is ongoing
and Reporting Mode has been set to Anonymous Reporting on
the used site.
- Change Employees - Enabled only if labor time is ongoing
and Reporting Mode has been set to Employee Reporting on the
used site.
You can also change the clocking note if required.
Prerequisites
- A production (runtime) activity must have been started on the operation.
- To change production for more than one operation, they must have been
started in the same clocking sequence.
- The Crew Size can only be modified if Reporting Mode has
been set to Anonymous Reporting on the used site.
- Employees can only be changed if Reporting Mode has been set
to Employee Reporting on the used site.
- If an employee qualification requirement exists for the operation, and
the qualification check for the site is mandatory, then the reporting employee(s)
must have those qualifications.
System Effects
- If Start Machine Time is enabled, a new machine clocking sequence
will be created with the start time recorded on it. (See Start Production
activity for details)
- If Stop Machine Time is enabled, the machine clocking sequence
will be updated with a stop time. An operation history transaction will
be created per operation with the elapsed time recorded on it. (See Stop
Production activity for details)
- If Change Resource is enabled, the machine clocking
will be stopped and one operation history transaction will be created per
operation with the elapsed time recorded on it. A new machine clocking sequence
will be created carrying the new resource value and the start time. (See
Start/Stop Production activities for details).
- If Start Labor Time is enabled new labor clocking(s) will be
created.
- In anonymous mode one clocking record will be created per operation
with the value in the Crew Size field and the start
time recorded on it.
- In employee mode, one clocking record per record in the
Employees list and operation will be created. (See Start Production
activity for details)
- If Stop Labor Time is enabled, ongoing labor clocking(s)
for the operation will be updated with a stop time. One labor operation
history transaction for each clocking will be created with the elapsed time
recorded on it. (See Stop Production activity for details)
- If Change Crew Size is enabled, the labor clocking
will be stopped and one operation history transaction will be created per
operation. A new labor clocking sequence will be created carrying the new
crew size value and time start time. (See Stop Production activity for details)
- If Change Employees is enabled, the labor clocking(s)
for the removed employees will be be updated with a stop time and one labor
operation history transaction per clocking will be created with the elapsed
time recorded on it. One new labor clocking per added employee and operation
will be created.
