Activity Check Server Status

Explanation

Use this activity to check if the IFS PSO ( Planning Scheduling and Optiomization)  server is connected and running.

Prerequisites

• MSO solution uses IFS Planning Scheduling and Optimizaiton ( PSO) solution as its scheduling engine. Therefore it is mandatory to have a online PSO scheduling server running to execute this activity.
• Finite Scheduling Basic Data must be defined for the site

System Effects

• The server will return its status. There are only 2 server statuses.
  • Server is properly running
  • Server is not connected
• The server has to be online and properly running for sucessful execution of MSO.
