Create Checklist Templates for MRB

Explanation

This activity is used to create default checklist templates in the basic data for Material Review Board (MRB) cases. You can define a standard checklist for each template you create. A checklist comprises of one or more questions that you need to answer before changing the status of a MRB header from Created to Completed.

To create a new checklist template, click the new command, enter data and save. It is optional to enter a non conformance code. If you want the template to be the default template for a particular non conformance code in a site (or only for a particular site), enable Default. Each site can only have one default checklist template for each non conformance code. To create checklist items with questions for the checklist template, click the new command on section MRB Checklist Items, add information and save.

Prerequisites

Relevant non conformance code must have been defined in the basic data for MRB. 

System Effects

• A new default checklist template is created.
• When a new MRB case with the same non conformance code and site as in the default checklist template is created and Default is enabled for the checklist template, the system will automatically associate the default checklist with that MRB case. If there is no default template with matching non conformance code and site with Default enabled, but there is a default template with matching site without a non conformance code with Default enabled, the checklist from that template will be automatically associated.
•  The default checklist template can be accessed when viewing the MRB case.
