New Machine Clocking
Explanation
Use this activity to manually register a new machine clocking record for
a shop order operation. Machine clockings are booked against a work center
resource.
To register a new machine clocking from:
- Shop Floor Workbench page, expand the
operation and open the Clockings tab. Click
New Clocking and then New Machine Clocking.
- Shop Floor Clockings page, click
New Clocking and then New Machine Clocking.
If the setup or production is ongoing on the operation, leave
the stop time field empty.
Prerequisites
- A shop order operation must exist.
System Effects
- A new clocking record will be created.
- If a stop time has been entered, a time result will be calculated,
and an operation history
transaction (OPFEED) will
be created.
