Report Picking of Shop Order Pick List
Explanation
Use this activity to report picking from a shop order pick list. You can
report picking of the entire pick list, according to a parent quantity,
selected inventory locations/handling units or single pick list lines. There
can be several pick lists for the same shop order, i.e., only certain
material lines for the shop order are displayed. If the pick list is
consolidated, it consist pick list lines from several shop orders.
To report picking from the Report Picking of Shop Order Pick List
or Warehouse Task pages:
- To report picking of all material on the pick list, click Report
Picking of All Material.
- To report picking of all material on the pick list according to a
parent quantity, click Report Picking According to Parent Qty.
- To report picking of all pick list lines assigned to an inventory
location or handling unit. Open the Aggregated tab, select
the inventory location and/or handling units for which you want to pick
all connected pick list lines and click Report Picking. Click
OK in the Report Picking of Shop Order Pick List Lines
dialog.
- To report picking of individual pick list lines. Open the
Details tab, select the relevant lines and click Report
Picking. Enter the relevant quantity to pick for each line in the
Report Picking of Shop Order Pick List Lines dialog and click
OK.
To report picking from the Warehouse Data Collection page:
- To report picking of part. Click Report Picking Part Shop Order
Pick List and perform the steps required based on the configuration
of the data capture process and the setup of the data.
- To report picking of part. Click Report Picking Handling Unit
Shop Order Pick List and perform the steps required based on the
configuration of the data capture process and the setup of the data.
If this is the first issue of material for the selected MRO assembly shop
order, the system will automatically run the perform preliminary conformance
check function, thereby creating (or updating) the expected on-log with the
structure for the level below. For more information on this function, refer
the online help file: Perform
Preliminary Conformance Check.
This activity contains a security
checkpoint which can be activated by an administrator. With an activated
security checkpoint on a function you will have to authenticate yourself
again in order to fulfill the function. Additionally, whenever a security
checkpoint is successfully passed, a security checkpoint log is written
creating an audit trail of what is done.
Prerequisites
- A pick list must have been created for the shop order(s).
- All MRO disassembly and repair orders connected to the MRO assembly shop
order must have been completely received.
- Likewise, all disposition orders connected to the MRO disassembly order
in a shop visit must have been completely received. (If an order on the
level below is not finished, some serials may not be reserved. This may
cause the expected on-log to be updated with incomplete information.)
- To report picking according to a parent quantity, the pick list
cannot be consolidated for several shop orders.
System Effects
- Components are issued from inventory.
- Each shop material allocation row receives the status Issued.
- The status of the shop order(s) will be set to Started.
- Inventory transaction history records (SOISS) will be created for
the issued components.
- If the shop order was created from project delivery, the project
delivery structure will be updated with the quantity issued.
- The
expected on-log is created (or updated) with the structure for the level
below.
- Log entries are generated each time the perform preliminary
conformance check function is run (i.e., either manually or
automatically). These entries can be viewed in the Shop
Order/Prelim. Conformance Log tab or the MRO Interim Order Structure/Preliminary
Conformance Log tab.
