Unissue Shop Order Material Automatically
Explanation
This activity is used to automatically return the material issued for one
or several shop order material line(s) to either its original, or a to a new inventory location.
To unissue a material line automatically from:
- Shop Order/Materials, Shop Order Materials
or Shop Floor Workbench/Materials: Select the relevant
material line(s), click Issue and then Unissue.
- Shop Floor Workbench: Click Operation Guide,
select the relevant line(s) in the Materials section and click
Unissue.
In the dialog, select whether to unissue to the original, or to a new
inventory location.
Prerequisites
- The selected material line(s) must have been issued.
- No component scrap have been reported for the material line(s).
- The selected material lines must belong to the same site.
- No quantity have been received to stock.
- The shop order is not an MRO shop order.
System Effects
- The system unissues all quantity previously issued
to the select material line(s). If the Catch Unit Enabled has been enabled for the part, the issued catch quantity will
be unissued.
- The material is returned to its original location or a different location
as specified. Material is returned with original values for handling
unit ID and W/D/R no.
- The system creates reversal inventory transaction history records
(UNISS) for the components that have been unissued.
- If the shop order was created from project delivery, the project delivery
structure will be updated with the quantity unissued.
