Update Revision for Configuration
Explanation
Use this activity to select a different revision of the structure/routing
for shop orders with configured parts. (The current revision is selected automatically
when the system registers a shop order.)
To update revision for configuration, click Handle Materials and
Operations and then Update Revision for Configuration. Select the
desired structure and routing revision in the dialog.
Prerequisites
- Shop order should be for a configured part, and the configuration should
be in status Completed.
- This activity requires that the shop order is in status Planned
or Released.
- If a material line is manually pegged against a purchase order line
or a shop order, the pegging has to be removed first.
System Effects
As a result of this activity,
- The revision on the shop order head is changed.
- The shop order materials and operations will be updated with the
rules for the selected revision.
