Use this activity to maintain the period calendar to be used in the system.
A record must be created for each period in a year for which planning is done.
You can define the forward planning by different period units, which means that
you can have daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly periods defined for the same
year. For example, to create weekly periods for a calendar year, you would create
52 records, with each record being appropriately numbered and its length defined
by seven-day begin and end dates.
There are no prerequisites for this activity.
As a result of this activity, the system creates a period unit calendar for use within the system.
