This activity is used to define alternate disassembly components for a disassembly component. Alternate disassembly components are used when other than the expected component might be found when a product is being disassembled.
Use the Alternate Disassembly Component page to define a new alternate disassembly component for a disassembly component. It is also possible to view disassembly components and which alternate disassembly components that are available for each disassembly component.
Use the Alternate Disassembly Components page to get an overview of all registered alternate disassembly components or to register a new alternate disassembly component.
Optionally you can specify the parent part for which the alternate disassembly component is valid. Else, it will be valid for all parents.
There must be entries in the inventory part register for both the disassembly component and the part that should be used as an alternate disassembly component.
The user will be allowed to replace the disassembly component on a shop order with the alternate disassembly component.
