Explanation

The maintenance level routing represents the set of all possible operations required to disassemble, assemble, or disposition a part within the MRO process. For an attached maintenance level, some of the possible set of operations may not be relevant. Like the monolithic routings of which they are a subset, maintenance level routings are always defined for position parts. When a maintenance level has been connected to a routing, you use the Included setting to associate an operation with the selected maintenance level.

The maintenance level routings are used during the define work scope process to ascertain the required operations based on the maintenance level defined for each overhaul part. The interim orders that are generated by releasing the work scope, which already contains the required routing information. The supply shop orders take the operations directly from the corresponding interim order rather than from the maintenance level routing itself.
