Enter Work Center Department

Explanation

This activity is used to define a work center department. This allows you to logically group together work centers within a site. Departments are not used for capacity calculations and are only used for cost and time monitoring.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that you must have entered a site to which you can connect the work center department.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• A new work center department is created.
• Work centers within the same site can be grouped by department.
