Activate Operational Plan

Explanation

Use this activity to activate the operational plan. If Planning & Scheduling Optimization (PSO) or Maintenance Planning Board (MPB) are used, active operational plans will be part of the scheduling if they are connected with equipment object structure and if there are work orders, work tasks and PM occurrences to be scheduled for the equipment objects in the object structure and will be used to derive the object accessibility when scheduling tasks if applicable.

In MPB scheduling engine an operational plan can also be viewed even if it is in under preparation status.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity:

• An operational plan in UnderPreparation status should exist in the system.

System Effects

• As a result of this activity, operational plan becomes active.
• If PSO or MPB scheduling engines are used, operational plan can be used as a guidance or to derive the object accessibility for scheduling activities if applicable.
