An object's parameter(s) can be used as a base for criteria based preventive maintenance for the object. A parameter can for example be Temperature, Quantity produced or Operation hours, Oil level, Pressure, etc. A PM action can be created for an object's parameter, where the acceptable limits for the parameter is defined. When a measurement is recorded against the object's parameter, and the measurement is outside acceptable limits, a work order can be generated.
