Create Event

Explanation

Event driven maintenance can be used on PM Actions or directly link into work orders and work tasks.

An event can be of temporary nature as 'Power outage' or 'Breakdown', but also more periodical as 'Monthly shutdown' or 'Yearly shutdown' etc. When a certain event is reported, work orders and work tasks will be created from the PM Actions where the event has been defined if there is an event line available in the maintenance plan that is in status Active. Directly connected work orders/work tasks will be planned for the event.

Before information on the event is entered, the following must have been completed:

System Effects

As a result of this activity the event itself is created. To be used to define event driven PM actions or to connect to work orders/work tasks there must first be one or more event date periods defined.
