Create/Modify Event Date Period
Explanation
This activity is used to define event date periods for an event. An event
can have several date periods connected where each date period has a certain
status.
Prerequisites
Before adding/modifying an event date period, following must be valid:
- There must be an event created to which you can attach the date period.
- No other open overlapping date period line within same site is allowed.
- To allow modifying the event date period dates the status cannot already
have been set to status Completed or Cancelled.
System Effects
As a result of this activity there will be a date period line
created/updated and saved.
- If there has been a new date period line created, it will be set to
Preliminary status.
- If there is an existing date period line updated, it will remain in same
status as before.
- If the validity period (Date From and/or Date To) have been changed for
a line in status Planned or Active, this will have effect on the
Earliest Start and/or Latest Finish dates for all PM Action Maintenance
Plan lines and Work Tasks that are event connected to this period.
